East 180th Street station

  • John Patrick Shanley (born 1950), a playwright and screenwriter, grew upward in Van Nest. He wrote the script for the 1987 picture 5 Corners, which was set in the eastward Bronx and took its proper noun from an intersection in Van Nest.[9]
